What is the purpose of the outdoor industrial cable protector?
Unlike any other heavy duty cable protector, this is more suited to heavy industrial workplaces. This cable protector secures any loose cables and leads in any type of heavy duty environment. The protector is hard wearing, will withstand any vehicle pressure/weight and all weather conditions. There are three channel sizes to suit most cables and leads and are specifically designed to cover and protect heavy duty power cables.

Specifications of the outdoor industrial cable protector
The cable protector is manufactured from FR (fire-resistant) rated polymers. It is fire retardant to BS476 Part 7 Class 3 and the European equivalent DIN 4102 Part 1 and Class B1. It has been tested for non-conductivity to BS903-C5, 500V and is UV stabilised for external outdoor life.
BS476 Part 7 – The surface spread of a flame
This standard is a classification whether the surface of a material gives an indication as to its ability to spread fire. The test classes the material from 1 (best) down to 4 (worst). This has been given a class of 3.
